Alessandra Ambrosio Speaks on Her Inspiration Behind Clothing Collection

Brazilian Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio recently unveiled her debut fashion collection, named ‘Alé by Alessandra Ambrosio’. The carefree designs are beach-friendly and relaxed with a distinct bohemian vibe that is also reflected in the model’s off-duty personal dress-sense. The effortless pieces are lightweight and easy to style in different ways. Alessandra has commented on her design inspiration, stating that she was interested in creating wearable pieces that can transform from day to night:

”As a working mom, I need something that will go from day to night and something that you really don’t need to think too much. I wanted to do something easy for women.”

Alessandra adds that her young daughter Anja is already showing an interest in fashion and has already created her own unique style. She says that Anja enjoys playing with her mother’s clothes and is already showing signs of being a fashionista:

”My daughter, she loves fashion. She’s a little fashionista. She has her own personality and style, and she loves playing with mommy’s clothes!”

The model comments that fashion has been a big part of her life from the very beginning and taking the first steps to launch her own label has been a big dream come true. She spoke on starting off her fashion empire:

”I love fashion. It’s in my blood. I always wanted to create my own brand… I wanted to do something that would make women feel good.”
