NOW: JULIAN ZIGERLI SS14

Fashion is an ongoing conversation embracing new trends, techniques, and social evolutions. Unlike established houses, young designers have this amazing freedom – and almost obligation – to experiment. Julian Zigerli has proven season after season to be one of them, using each project as an opportunity to invite artists, graphic designers or just explore abundantly his obsessions. For his new collection, Julian invited internationally acclaimed painter Katharina Grosse to design new patterns. Katharina is known for using an industrial spray gun on unorthodox surfaces questioning the relationship between medium and support, creation and manufactured objects. Their alliance gives a wonderful color explosion flirting with Julian’s recurrent obsessions with everything related to sky and movement, but also a new definition of “Art meets Fashion”.
