SHOPPING: CAMPER FW14

The new Fall Winter season marks a new direction for Camper with former Mugler designer Romain Kremer as a creative director. While you can still identify Camper’s aesthetic, the line has clearly taken a new path. The classic Pelotas for example, Camper’s iconic shoe, has received a futuristic treatment with a nylon like material or glossi soft leather. Its lines have been streamlined to offer a cleaner and elegant look. Kremer’s vision was transposed to the entire collection, playing with materials (soft leather/rubber – suede/rubber), color blockings (black/white – black/blue – blue/white) and slicker lines. I love Romain’s range of styles infusing a certain modernity from the more classic shoes on to a contemporary take on other styles.
