NOTE: THE ODD AND THE BEAUTIFUL
Fashion’s voracious appetite for images and more specifically good-looking people has often reduced street style to its narcissistic and decorative functions. While I can’t contest it (my job is also to compliment people’s looks), I’ve never limited myself to this role. Observing and documenting are the main reasons I started MonsieurJerome.com three years ago. I always admired the diversity and people’s creativity so it felt natural to showcase the new and the old, the odd and the beautiful.
Today’s series features all-black looks. Bold, iconoclast, punk, gothic, they are quintessentially modern and intriguing.
