Back to the cold and back to regular programming. Fortunately, it seems that temperatures are rising above zero on the East Coast, but if you ask me, we’re still a long ways away from spring. And with snow still lining the streets, my boots aren’t getting packed away just yet. But don’t get me wrong, I’m not letting the winter put a damper on my style!

This look is all about two royal hues: deep purple and a very specific Klein Blue. I remember back in my high school art class, learning about artist Yves Klein and the captivating works he painted, in a vivid blue, which he accordingly patented as Klein Blue. Well, it’s all coming back to me now (thanks to my amazing art teacher and mentor, Susy!) with the introduction of Etnia Barcelona’s Klein Blue Collection. Klein Blue has been used in fashion for decades, but the optical brand is the first to be authorized by the Yves Klein Archives to use and market Klein Blue. I must say, these Klein Blue lenses are a-m-a-z-i-n-g. And you know how much I love my reflective lenses!

Also in exciting fashion news, is the new Marc by Marc Jacobs men’s watch collection! Combining vintage military elements with modern style, the new collection is everything that Marc by Marc Jacobs is all about. I was graciously gifted with the “Larry” style, a chronograph watch with a brushed black stainless steel case and tan leather strap. A great casual timepiece that I’ve already been wearing everyday this past week. The collection is also very well priced, with most styles coming in under $300 USD.
