Amazing Oscar night with Ellen making us laugh and laugh. She even ordered pizza and took the record breaking Tweeted selfie above. Of course I had all the Oscar snacks (Kuwaiti style) ready with several cups of Nespresso.

My favorite look was Kate Hudson in Versace and Charlize Theron in Dior. All the actresses and actors looked amazing.

I'm thrilled that Southern boys Matthew McConaughey (Best Actor) and Jared Leto (Best Supporting Actor) took home the Oscar gold for their amazing performances in Dallas Buyers Club. Lupita Nyong'o winning Best Supporting Actress had me jumping up and down. Then best picture was my pick: 12 Years a Slave.

If there was an Oscar for the most affectionate couple it would go to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. They were very supportive of each other throughout the ceremony and clearly crazy in love. There was an awkward moment when Angelina was presenting and they flashed the camera on Laura Dern's face. Her cold expression was clearly based on the fact that Billy Bob Thornton, to whom she was engaged to and living with left her without notice and suddenly married Angelina Jolie. Angelina would later move on to Brad Pitt and steal him from Jennifer Anniston. Angelina is just a humanitarian goddess who's apparently impossible to resist.
