1 Palette / 5 Looks – Day 5

Last day and I may just have saved the best ’til last. I love blue shadow.. it’s not the most flattering and can come off very 80s if not done correctly but I just love it. I used the bold blue colours on my lid with no highlight whatsoever and went in with the purply blues to accent my crease. Very deep and smokey but colourful and fun, although my eyes are brown I still think it work.. especially with the blonde hair – which is tinted pink from my toner – you may disagree but hey, that’s the fun of life, isn’t it? It’s one of the simplest looks I’ve created but possibly the most high impact

There are so many colours I didn’t even touch in this palette.. I feel like this series could go on forever but we’re done and I’m massively impressed. I am a bit of an eyeshadow snob, I love my Urban Decay, they’re creamy and SO pigmented I’ve been spoiled. I cannot tell you that these are as good, I’d love to but I’d be lying.. but they’re very, VERY good and worth at least double their money for sure. Colours aren’t something we’re all willing to invest in as you may not use them as often as your staple neutral palette but in this case spending a little less really wont lose you all that much in quality – I would definitely recommend this palette!

For the rest of my face I kept it pretty simple, basic black kohl on my waterline, the same mascara as yesterday which I’m still not totally sure about.. the brush is odd but I’ll talk more about that in the review. I used my Sea Me, Hear Me blush for the first time.. it’s SO beautiful I barely want to touch it but it’s a shame not to use it since it’s such a pretty colour. I finished with a slick of Super Natural gloss from Revlon.

So that’s my final look, if you liked this series and would like to see me do it again with another palette I’m definitely up to the challenge.. I really enjoyed this one so any suggestions/requests as to which palette you’d like to see are very welcome. Or maybe you hated it and would rather I never repeated this.. those comments are welcome too.. although I will probably ignore them

The palette I used is available online here for £7.99
