Peanut Maple Frosting

Since I plan on going back to strict Paleo next month, I decided to try to use up a bunch of ingredients in my house this morning that aren’t Paleo. Peanut butter, ah peanut butter. How I love you.
I came up with this AMAZING frosting. Like totally amazing. Stick it on your cupcakes, pancakes, eat it with a spoon. I won’t judge.

Ingredients
1/3 cup natural peanut butter (Only ingredient should be peanuts.)
3 tbsp maple syrup (more if you want it sweeter)
3-4 tbsp unsweetened almond milk (I had to add more as I stirred, to get the right consistency)

Method
Add peanut butter and maple syrup in a double boiler over high heat.
Stir to combine.
Add almond milk, 1 tbsp at a time until you’ve reached the right consistency.
You could probably do this in the microwave too, but I hate using the microwave and you’d probably have to stop it a lot to see what’s going on. Use the double boiler, it will make your life a lot easier.

ENJOY, slowly.
