DIY Bright Red Suit

There was a time in my life when my daily uniform was a suit, normally black or blue but never would a bright red suit had been appropriate. Now I can throw appropriate out the window and simply go with how I feel and at this point in my life a bright red suit is beyond appropriate.

The trousers were made with Burdastyle B6981 which is a slimmer fit that I wanted to fit bit looser, so I cut a larger size and adjusted the waist.

The blazer was made using McCalls M5938

No alterations were made to the patterns.

Both were made with this Italian poly blend from moodfabrics.com and lined with a black charmeuse.
