We are featuring the lovely Erin from E.dot.cee this week. I have been following Erin for a while, I love her style and her sense of humour plus Erin is awesome at joining in the challenges. I’m thrilled she agree to come and play today.

How would your friends or family describe your style?

Eclectic, fun and colourful are the words I get the most. I like to think of my style as all of the above but I have my drab days like everyone. I love mixing prints and accessorising so that adds to my colourful persona too.

Who inspires you and why?

My inspiration is real women, much like yourself and Natalie Tucker from Defined Image. Dressing for your personality not style and having a new say never attitude to trying new clothing is something I am passionate about, as well as inspiring others to mix prints, colours and styles too.

What are two things you bought and never wore?

I have bought and never worn quite a number of maxi dresses and skirts…I can never quite style them right and not feel frumpy. I have kept a handful in an effort to practicing with them however. I won’t give up.

Describe your biggest beauty disaster (and do you have photographic evidence)?

Over-plucking my eyebrows… inspired by Drew Barrymore in the 90′s, I fashioned my brows into thin little wisps. As I’ve come to learn now I am older, they are the most defining feature of your face and something I treat with respect now. Lesson learned.

What your favourite beauty tip?

Smile… it makes your eyes twinkle, your heart lighter and often brings a smile in return. And a good blusher… I often wear nothing but blush and mascara for school runs and on weekends. It stops you looking tired and sallow (I use Body Shop Blush Duo in Coral).
