The First Three Things You See

Many people are incredulous when I tell them that pinning on Pinterest is part of my job. Sure, Facebook and Twitter are implied when “Social Media Manager” is part of your job title but Pinterest? Yes. This does not mean I get to pin pictures of pretty beaches, fashionable outfits, or to-die-for living rooms, those I share after hours on my personal Pinterest profile.
For my company and for my clients I pin items relevant to their business and recently I cam across this infographic from American Express pinned by the advertising giant Ogilvy & Mather and I was very intrigued.
Per the instructions I highlighted the first three words that I saw. Fun and ambitious – yes, I would love to be associated with those words. But pie? I guess. But pie is not my favorite dessert, perhaps dark chocolate, red velvet, or mint chip ice cream, yes please, but I would not say no to pie.
