Buffalo Chicken Pizza

It was brought to our attention the other day that Food and the City has never seen a Buffalo Chicken Pizza post. What in the what in the what in the what? We pretty much live and breathe pizza, especially a good ol' buffalo chicken slice, so how did this get by us?
Nothing seems normal anymore.

So since this was brought to our attention, and since this is Food and the City we're talking about, of course a Buffalo Chicken Pizza was made ASAP. Plus, we sort of lightened it up a tad, which was the perfect excuse to eat the entire thing. Alone. Watching Orange Is The New Black.

Don't judge.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza
1lb pizza dough (we used a ready-made one) 3 tablespoons franks hot sauce 1 teaspoon butter 1/2 fresh mozzarella, cubed 1 cup cooked chicken, cubed 1/2 red onion, sliced
Preheat your oven to 400. Spread out your pizza dough onto a greased baking sheet, and stretch it out to your desired size and thinness.
In a medium saucepan, combined the hot sauce and butter. Stir until butter is melted then remove from heat. Add two tablespoons of the buffalo sauce you just made on top of your dough, and the remaining sauce to your cooked chicken. Add on your mozzarella, then transfer to the oven for 2-3 minutes just to start the melting process. Remove and top with your chicken and red onion.
Return to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until dough is cooked through. Enjoy!
