Target Twins - Florals for Mother's Day

I hope you all have been enjoying #TargetTwins with Melissa and I. We always have a lot of fun picking out the Target trend we want to feature. With Mother's Day this coming Sunday, we thought it would be appropriate to inspire you all with two Mother's Day looks featuring this floral scuba skirt. Being a mom myself now, I love getting showered with affection from my boys. But I also love that it gives me an excuse to dress feminine and pretty because that's what makes me feel most confident! I had my eyes set on this Mossimo floral scuba skirt for weeks and I was lucky to find the last one in my size at my local Target.
With all the gorgeous colors in this skirt, it was easy to focus on one of them, (the bright pink) and use white as an anchor for the rest of the look. When dressing for brunch, I think elegance and maybe a mimosa or two ;), so I made sure to use pieces that were a little more sophisticated. A white jacket or blazer can keep you warm if you dine on the patio, and it also lightens up the moody colors of the skirt. Heels in a coordinating color will bring your whole look together, along with a sleek pair of sunglasses, and a chic satchel bag.
