I can't believe summer is almost over. Living in Oregon, everyone embraces summer because it's gone in a wink and then we're back to gray skies and rain. Although I don't mind that too much either. ;)
The last couple of weeks, my son has been attending a day camp at one of the local parks. It's the first time that he's ever been left alone with adults and kids he doesn't know. I think it was good for him and for me. We've been together literally every day since he was born.
I think as a mom it can be hard to watch your kids grow up and become more independent. It really makes me cherish these times with him because the time we spend together will gradually become less and less as he grows up. It's a bittersweet time. I'm glad to say he had so much fun though! Here he is showing off his superhero costume that he made while at camp. :)
Anyway, my outfit is quite simple and perfect for just wearing around town. The last time I wore this vintage baby doll top was in this post here and I got this chambray skirt from Crossroads Trading Co. the last time I visited California. And raise your hand if you love mood rings? And you love them because My Girl was one of your favorite movies. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. I used to have a small collection of vintage ones I found at a flea market, but they're long gone now. I'm glad I found this one at Forever 21!
