This morning I took Rena Tom’s Retail Readiness workshop with The Skillery at Fort Houston and had a great time. It was very informative and really great to meet some other makers in Nashville. I hope I’ll run into some of them around town!
I’m hoping that tomorrow I can spend most of the day working on freelance work and creating more pieces for my shop. There’s a lot left to do, but I’m making progress!
Last weekend we went to Texas to visit our friends Rachel and Mike and had a great time. One night things got a little crazy and Craig sewed a quilt block. It’s always great to spend time crafting with other people and talking about your maker dreams.
I also went back to the Mercury Design Studio while we were in town and bought a Molly McGrath laser cut print that had been in the back of my mind since I went there last September.
It was a great week! The next few weeks don’t show any signs of slowing down and I’m very much looking forward to the coming adventures!
