Something Sweet

Summer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind. Is my age showing? I totally just cited lyrics from DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince’s 90s “Summertime” song. With that aside, it is actually summertime, and friggin’ blazing in New York. Light colors are all I am wearing. I wore black once (on a 90° day) and it was terrible. Muted tones and washed out colors have become second skin this season, mostly because it’s hot out and my clothes literally stick to me. White shorts, a light-weight shirt, easy sandals, and delicate jewelry are my ‘Something Sweet‘ to beat the heat. Nothing more, nothing less. Watch “Summertime” below.
