Kendall Jenner Walked For Chanel

If you thought Kendall Jenner would be a one show wonder, you were clearly mistaken. The 18 year old has had the type of runway season that a new model could only dream of after bagging lucrative gigs walking for Marc Jacobs in New York, Giles in London and Givenchy over the weekend.

And just to confirm her legitimacy in the fashion arena, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star got her big break this morning walking for Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld hasn’t always said nice things about the Kardashians but maybe shooting Kim for that CR Fashion Book cover changed his mind.

His decision to cast her doesn’t particularly come as surprise. The fact that she didn’t leave for Los Angeles after the Givenchy show made it obvious that she was waiting to walk in another show and considering that Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Miu Miu were the only big ones left on the schedule, the chances were looking likely.

It’ll be really interesting to see how her success on the runway translates when campaign season comes about. I wouldn’t be surprised if she booked a campaign for one of the big French houses.
