It’s beach season here in our house! We are trading in our annual Walt Disney World trip this summer for a trip to Hilton Head Island with my in laws-yes, my in laws. I have the BEST in laws on earth, and I’m so looking forward to a trip to the beach with them-and making those “vacations with grandparents” memories for our children. Can’t wait! So on a summer afternoon, I created this Seashell Wreath with easy supplies I had on hand.
I kept the seashells from last year’s Beachy Summer Mantel and created this Seashell Wreath with them. It was already wrapped in burlap from my Paper Flower Wreath I had for spring. I laid out the starfish and the “Welcome” sign and then filled in with random seashells.
Of course, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut a simple “welcome” to add to a bare wood plaque I had on hand. I distressed it, like the Distressed Crate that I have on the mantel. It turned out SO cute, and was a simple afternoon project.
