It’s Christmas time, and in our house that can easily be referred to as “Craftimas Time”. All of a sudden, the week before Thanksgiving, I turn into a holiday craft machine. Not to mention I am trying to keep the house clean for our upcoming holiday gatherings that we are hosting as well!

So while I’m crafting, I’m making a mess….and then I need to clean it up quickly before my husband gets home or the guests arrive! This week, I had an epic craft mess~with glitter. Shocked? You shouldn’t be! I am in the midst of working on our creation for our front door, and it involves glue, glitter, and my favorite five year old who insists on helping!

I spent my afternoon coating some craft sticks with glue, and then sprinkling them with glitter. Before I knew it, there was glitter all over my craft counter and my floor. Now, one thing you may not know about me, is I am a vacuum-aholic.

I vacuum more than once a week, and I like to see the lines in the carpet when I vacuum. Heck, I even vacuum our wood floor in the kitchen and the hallway! I LOVE my vacuum~my Eureka Suction Seal 2.0. This vacuum is the bomb! It hasn’t met a mess it couldn’t clean, including the glitter I had decorated my carpet with while I was crafting.

The suction seal has plates that rise and lower against the surface, while maintaining the suction and seal without scattering debris everywhere. Plus, I love that it is easy to switch from carpet to the tools function. I really think that is what sets it apart from others. Check it out in action!

Previous vacuums we’ve had, we didn’t change the settings, we just unhooked the hose to use the attachments instead of actually setting it from “Floor” to “Tools”. Plus, the fact that I can use it on multi surfaces in my home is a win! I can easily move from the living room to the kitchen, to the office by just changing the setting from Carpet to Hard Floor.

I found the Eureka Suction Seal 2.0 on Rollback at Walmart. It is usually $149, but on Rollback it’s only $129! So back to my epic glitter mess. My Eureka sucked up ALL the glitter from the floor and the craft counter!

Then, I took her into the kitchen so she could suck up all the gross stuff off the floor. Do your kids get up from the table, and it looks like nothing made it into their mouth?! How do you clean your epic craft messes? Or get ready for company ASAP? Or am I the only one who makes epic craft messes?!
