Sprachlos stehe ich dort. Fast verloren zwischen all dem Grün. „Willst du diese Reise wirklich alleine machen,?“ schallen mir die Worte vieler Freunde durch den Kopf. Alle Zweifel, alle Momente der Unsicherheit sind wie weggewischt. Dort stehe ich und finde keinen klaren Gedanken. Wenn das, was alle als falsch betrachten, richtig ist und das, was richtig ist, gar nicht so falsch zu sein scheint, so war dies genau die richtige Entscheidung. Ich gucke nach links, ich gucke nach rechts, sehe all die Terrassen, geschaffen von Menschenhand in Jahrtausenden, beobachte kleine Punkte im, Tal die emsig die Reisfelder bearbeiten und fasse kaum, was ich sehe. Erlebe ich dies wirklich? Ich bücke mich und berühre Reispflanzen. Ich laufe entlang der Bergkante und empfinde keine Angst, fühle mich sicher, denn was 3000 Jahre währt, muss einfach gut sein. So stehe ich an jenem magischen Ort, der vor 7 Monaten den Startschuss für diese Reise war, und weiß: Ja, es war und ist richtig.

I´m speechless and can´t find words for what I see. Different shades of green capture my attention. „Do you really want to travel to the Philippines all by yourself?“, are the words of my friends and family that come into my mind. Here I stand, with thousands of thoughts in my head. I´m confused because it feels so right to be here although everybody thinks it´s wrong. I turn to the left and walk through the rice terraces. I go down on my knees to touch the rice plants and walk up till the end of the terraces until I reach the top of the mountain. For one moment it feels like I´m all alone here until I recognize people down the hill walking through the fields of rice. It is a deep pleasure I feel. This journey has been one of the best decisions of my life.
