Rome – Photo Diary

Während in Deutschland langsam der Winter einkehrt, fliehe ich in Richtung Rom. 23°C und Sonne begrüßen mich bei der Landung in Fiumicino. Während ich die Stadt im Shirt erkunde, tragen die Einheimischen dicke Mäntel, Schal und Mütze. Wir warten nicht lange in unserem Hotel und machen uns sofort auf den Weg die Stadt per Fuß zu erkunden. Moderne Architektur Fehlanzeige, stattdessen besticht diese Stadt durch ihren geschichtsträchtigen Charme. Vom Kolosseum über das Pantheon, bis hin zum Trevibrunnen, sind es all die faszinierenden Häuser und Gassen, die uns bei Tag und Nacht staunen lassen. Einen ersten kleinen Eindruck aus der Ewigen Stadt gebe ich euch heute und hoffe so für ein bisschen Urlaubsgefühl sorgen zu können.

Normally the best times of the year to visit Rome are April, May and October. In December the days are still warm and the nights are slightly cool, so that Rome welcomed me with 23°C. Our hotel is located 5 minutes away from the central station, so that we start our trip through Rome immediately after arriving. We walk to the Colosseum, the greatest arena in the ancient world and discover amazing squares and fountains like the Trevi fountain or the Spanish steps by day and night. The treasures and masterpieces of Roman art and architecture fascinate us constantly on our way through the town. Today I will show you some impressions from one of the most beautiful European cities.
