begging for 50s summer time

it's almost TGIF everyone! have you thought about your weekend plans? i know mine is enjoying my time off in the beautiful sunshine, eagerly waiting for spring and summer to approach. im so excited that i pulled out my chambray and floral high waisted shorts to match my mood.

i took my chambray button down (nordstrom bp $54) and tied it at the waist to meet my high waisted shorts which pairs perfectly, color wise, to my blouse. the blue in the denim brings out the baby blue in the floral pattern in the shorts (forever 21 $10). i added another muted color of taupe by slipping on my opened toe flats (lucky brand) and popped some "so chaud" mac lipstick to give it another bold statement.
