SmittenPolish Spring 2014 Collection
Happy Monday dolls! Today I have photos for you of the SmittenPolish Spring 2014 collection. This collection is bright and packs a lot of sparkle! Previously, I’ve only tried glitters from SmittenPolish, so I was excited to try her other finishes.
SmittenPolish Audrey’s Rainbow is a dusty turquoise holo with an amazing formula. It applied effortlessly and was opaque in two coats. I decided to wear Audrey’s Rainbow as a full mani and I love that the holo is just sparkly enough for my tastes.
SmittenPolish Glacial Springs is a gorgeous aqua shade filled with shimmer and holo particles that leans a bit teal. The jelly base was sheer on the first coat, but built up to opacity in three coats. It applied easily, but I would recommend waiting a few minutes in between coats to prevent dragging. I did have slight staining upon removal of Glacial Springs, so be sure to use a good base coat. Top coat was used in the photos below.
SmittenPolish Ker-Bloom is a cornflower blue holo. The formula was easy to use and applied nicely in three coats. This is a really unique shade for a holo in my book.
SmittenPolish Not Your Mama’s Easter Grass is a bright lime green shimmer with holo particles. This polish is crazy bright and I love it! The formula, while sheer, was easy to apply and built up to opacity in three coats. It’s best to wait a few minutes in between coats to prevent dragging.
I really love the SmittenPolish Spring 2014 collection. The holos are just my speed and I can never say no to a shimmer with a little sparkle.
