Twinsie Tuesday ~ Inspired By Your Purse ~ Cirque Heritage
Hey dolls! The theme for this week’s Twinsie Tuesday was to create a mani inspired by your purse. I’m definitely a purse lover and I tend to switch bags every 1-2 weeks. If I’m trying to make an outfit pop, I switch more often. I decided to draw a little inspiration from the purse I’m currently carrying, the Guess Confessional satchel, which is a blue and green colorblocked bag. This bag was released last summer and I tracked it down at Macy’s. It’s now long sold out.
The colors in this bag are ridiculously bright, so that’s exactly what I wanted for my nails. I was swatching the new Cirque Heritage on Sunday and realized two of the shades, Cerrillos (aqua) and Panacea (green) would represent my bag nicely. I applied Cerrillos first and then used striping tape for the X using Panacea.
Blue and green will always be one of my favorite color combinations! The colors always look so great together. I probably should’ve gone with the deeper blue from this collection, Skywoman, but I still appreciate the way this turned out. I’ll have swatches of the entire collection on the blog tomorrow.
This Guess bag is one of my favorites because it’s so obnoxiously bright! I tend to go for bags in a modern shape with a fun or unique twist. What type of purse is your favorite? How often do you switch purses? Check out the bags the other Twinsies were inspired by down below.
