Hey dolls! Hope your week is off to a great start. Today’s post is a pretty big one as it features 10 new shades from the Scofflaw Summer 2014 collection. This collection features shimmers, glass flecks, and glitters.

Scofflaw Aeroplane Over the Sea is described as a happy blue filled with green sparkles as well as charcoal & green glitters. I am in love with this polish! The glitters compliment each other perfectly. The jelly base was on the thick side, but still manageable. The glitter was very dense and spread easily over the nail. Two coats were used for opacity and top coat was needed to smooth out the glitter.

Scofflaw Arcane Sugar is described as a mint green with peach, orange, and copper glitters as well as green and peach shimmer. I really like how soft this glitter looks and the colors compliment each other nicely. The formula was great and the glitter spread out nicely. It was opaque in two coats and top coat was used to smooth out the glitter.

Scofflaw Blind Tiger is described as a red-orange tangerine polish featuring tons of gold and orange shimmer, sparks, and flakes. I am in love with this polish as I can’t get enough of orange right now. You may remember it from my negative space mani a couple of weeks ago. Blind Tiger’s formula was great. It was very pigmented, applied easily, and opaque in two easy coats.

Scofflaw Cherry Nova is described as a warm cherry red creme with red and blue sparkles. This is my type of red, probably because of the pink undertones. The formula was great and it applied easily in two coats. Cherry Nova dries to a satin finish, so top coat was used. This polish was extremely hard to photograph and capture the blue glass glitter, but I’m hoping you can get an idea of it.

Scofflaw Jabberwocky is described as an orchard-purple base featuring blue sparkles as well as sapphire and plum glitters in various sizes. The subtle blue shimmer really makes this polish for me. The formula was good and the glitter was dense. There were no issues getting the larger glitters to spread nicely over the nail. Two coats were used for opacity and top coat was used to smooth out the glitter.

Scofflaw Love Goat is described as a neutral taupe with rainbow sparkles, flecks, and flakes, as well as a light dusting of holo. This is another one of my favorites from the collection. You may remember it from my one stroke flower/water decal look from last week. The formula was on the thick side and probably could use a few drops of thinner. Love Goat was very pigmented and opaque in two coats.

Scofflaw Love Letter to Mr. Rogers is described as a dark forest green base swimming with multi-colored sparkles and gold flakes. For some odd reason this polish makes me think about collard greens. I know, so silly. This is a cool mix of glitter and flakes. The formula was good and it applied easily in two coats.

Scofflaw Unicorn on the Cob is described as a a soft, buttery yellow with gold flecks and delicate dark blue speckles, as well as caramel and lavender glitters. This is one of those shades that people will like or dislike. At first I was on the fence, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. The formula applied easily and was opaque in two coats. Unicorn on the Cob did dry slightly gritty so top coat was applied.

This collection also features a new shimmer and glitter duo. Scofflaw Atomic Poodle is described as a dusty, retro peach-pink with silver shimmer. I am so in love with this shade. It’s subtle, soft, and super girly, which is right up my alley. Atomic Poodle’s formula was not as pigmented as the others in the collection. It applied easily, but did take three coats for opacity. Atomic Poodle needed a little help self-leveling, so top coat was applied to even it out.

The other half of the duo is Scofflaw We Were Promised Jetpacks. This polish is described as a glitter topper consisting of dot, hex, star, and triangle glitters in silver, white, navy blue, and turquoise. Those of you who are shaped glitter fans will appreciate this polish. The glitter was dense and spread easily over the nail in one coat without having to dab. It is shown below over Atomic Poodle. I initially swatched We Were Promised Jetpacks over an orange base, so you’ll see it that way as well.

Overall, I’m a huge fan of the Scofflaw Summer 2014 collection! There are a wide range of finishes that are sure to appeal to most. This collection will be available here on July 27, 2014 at 12p est. Be sure to keep up with them on Facebook and Instagram for more photos and details on the new collection.
