Butlins Minehead Review - Butlin's Team

This is another post in my series of reviews for Butlins Minehead after our recent stay there. First of all I have to say I can't fault their staff at all they were so so helpful, friendly and kind and I genuinely think that massively contributed to us having such a great stay!

The staff at check in were efficient yet friendly and instantly made me feel welcome. Unfortunately as we got to our room we found our room card wouldn't open the door, I stepped outside thinking i'd head back to reception and saw at least 5 members of staff walking to and fro buildings so got the attention of the guy closest to me, who checked our accommodation on our booking in and confirmed we were in the right place and apologised and immediately opened the apartment with what I presume was a master card so we could get in and then he himself went to reception to rectify the error for us and was back within 5 minutes with two cards that worked perfectly. It felt like nothing was too much trouble and he was happy to help!

We also found the staff at the dining area to be very friendly and they always greeted us enthusiastically and listed some of the scrumptious dishes set for the evening. They also interacted with our children which they loved! Some adults seem to ignore children but this was the opposite it was lovely and left the kids feeling part of it and grown up.

We also encountered the cleaning team when we went back to the apartment for Olivia to take her morning nap and they were apologetic for being there when we arrived (which we had no problem with at all) but they also asked if we had a preference of time for when they should clean the next day which I thought was very thoughtful.

Due to the dishwasher unfortunately breaking we also encountered the maintenance team who again were so so friendly and helpful! We had a brand new one installed roughly 2 hours after we discovered it wasn't working. Not bad at all eh?!

The staff around the park were also very friendly, especially the staff on the fairground rides, who spoke to the children as they got on sharing their excitement and every had lovely manners. In all honesty I have to every single member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful from the managers to the cleaners!
