Moments of Connection with Pumpkin Spice #shop

Creating Moments of Connection with Pumpkin Spice

Creating moments of connection with my family and friends seems like something that is harder and harder to do in today’s current world of technology.

People are too busy tweeting, texting, and checking in on Facebook to take the time to pick up a phone and call a loved one.

However, because I believe that we were put on this earth to give love and receive love, I make it a point to carve out time in my schedule to connect with my husband over a cup of coffee.

Right before we turn in in for the night I rev up my Keurig, pop in a K-cup of my favorite coffee, and grab whatever creamer is present in my refrigerator.

Currently Coffee-mate Pumpkin Spice Non-Dairy Creamer is what’s on hand.

I’m not a big fan of pumpkin, but I love the smell of pumpkin spice.

During the Fall the scent of pumpkin spice puts me in the mood for Thanksgiving, and Thanksgiving means food, and God knows I love food.

But, back to my cup of Joe with my Joe…..

Once my cup of coffee is perfect, complete with 8 Splendas and 2 tablespoons of Pumpkin Spice Creamer, I spend one on one time with my Joe and a cup of Joe.

Often times we don’t have a lengthy convo, or even talk at all, but the time I take out sitting beside him let’s him know I made a conscious effort to spend time with him.

Sometimes we sit up and laugh at the “Big Bang Theory,” listen to smooth jazz, or talk about the days events. Nothing major, just him and I spending time just being together.

And really, isn’t that what most of really needs anyways?!

Make sure you remember to create a moment of connection with someone you love.

Grab you favorite cup of Joe, pumpkin spice creamer (or whatever delicious smelling creamer you have on hand), and someone you love. Then unwind together.

How do you create moments of connection with your family & friends?

XOXO, Miss Foodie Fab!
