Garlic Bread Recipe for Your Family Size Gathering

It’s that time of year again. A time for family size gatherings, and unexpected guests dropping in, when you are at your most hectic.

Nothing screams the holidays like having friends and family stop by when you had absolutely no plans to cook. Not one.

That’s why I keep my freezer full with a lasagna or pizza, and reach for my garlic bread recipe, for an easy dinner.

During the holidays I plan ahead, because I never know when I will have to entertain a guest in my home. Plus, the #1 rule in my house is, “No one leaves hungry.”

There is no way I could not carry on my grandmother’s tradition of “loving through food” if I let anyone leave my house with the case of the hungries. It will just never happen.

Thankfully Nestle makes affordable, delicious, and family size products I can depend on to create an easy dinner to satisfy my friends and family.

I stocked up on Stouffer’s Macaroni and Cheese, Stouffer’s Lasagna with Meat Sauce, Digiorno Rising Crust Pepperoni Pizza, Edy’s Eggnog Ice Cream, and Edy’s Peppermint Wonderland Ice Cream at Wal-Mart recently.

Pizza, lasagna, and ice cream are Nestle staples to have in your freezer because they are family friendly. Plus, with a couple of additional items, you can jazz them up any which way you chose for cheap meals.

Edy’s Eggnog Ice Cream or Edy’s Peppermint Wonderland Ice Cream, with a banana and whipped cream, creates ice cream sundaes for easy desserts.

And a slice of homemade garlic bread, on the side of Stouffer’s Meat Lasagna, turns a boring old entree into something that looks like you slaved over the stove at a fraction of the price.

My garlic bread recipe is super simple, and I love the taste of the chives and garlic on the flaky bread.

This garlic bread recipe takes less than 10 minutes to make, and in my opinion it’s much healthier than the processed garlic bread you find in your frozen food aisle.

Check out my (semi) homemade garlic bread and create an easy dinner for your unexpected guests and family this holiday!
