Ad: Grilled Cornish Game Hen with Honey Soy Glaze Chicken Marinade

Cornish game hen is my favorite poultry.

Some people go ga ga over fried chicken with chicken seasoning, but serve me a simple baked Cornish game hen any day and I’ll be content.

My mom hipped me to Cornish hens as a little girl, and to this day no one can touch her Cornish hen. I mean the chick is bad with a baking pan and some seasoned birds.

My mom is the Queen of Baked Cornish Game Hen, and I grew up watching her baste and bake a pan of Cornish hens to moist perfection.

When I was challenged to create a recipe using Tyson Cornish Hens and Kikkoman Soy Sauce, from Wal-Mart, I knew I wanted to create a Cornish hen recipe that involved a preparation different from the one I grew up with.

Sure I could have baked my hens, and made a soy sauce dip like I did with my Mango Cucumber Salmon Rolls, but I wanted something I never had before.

Enter ginger, garlic, lime, and a grill.

This recipe is not any ole grilled Cornish hen recipe. In fact this Cornish game hen recipe may be the best recipe I ever made, and that’s saying a lot from the women who sprinkled brown sugar bacon on roasted pecans to create Brown Sugar Bacon Pecans.

Ginger rubbed on a Tyson Cornish game hen, marinated in Kikkoman Soy Sauce, and grilled slow and low, well it’s downright orgasmic.

Grab a Tyson Cornish Game Hen, a bottle of Kikkoman Soy Sauce, fire up your grill, and follow the has tags #Grill4Flavor and #CollectiveBias on Twitter for more recipes like this.
