“Thankful” Paper Turkey Table Decor & Activity for Thanksgiving

Are you getting your Thanksgiving craft on? (I know, all you friends in Canada have already filled up on turkey, haha.) But for my American friends, we’re just a few short weeks away from one of the BEST holidays all year! So if you’re looking for an activity, some inexpensive table decor, or both – I’ve got you covered with this sweet turkey paper craft!

It’s built around a hidden paper box, where you and your dinner guests can write about what you’re thankful for and pop notes inside. You can read them aloud at the dinner table, or save them for a rainy day to remember all the wonderful blessings to be enjoyed.

I’m sharing a free printable template and the instructions over at the Core’dinations blog – so come by and say hello! I did use my Sizzix to emboss and give this design texture, but you don’t need any fancy cutting machines to use the template – just your printer, some pretty scrapbook paper, and glue, so be sure to get the free download. Make it with your kids (or kids at heart) in colors you love to match your tablescape.

So, I’m curious – what’s something you’re thankful for this year?
