A one-of-a-kind experience at Coachella

Get lost in the depths of the California desert where you’ll be able to enjoy nature and a wide variety of fun activities.

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is coming up, and we propose you travel to the deserts of California, where you’ll have a completely new and unique experience.

Coachella is an essential date on all music lovers’ calendars. But it’s not only about the music, it’s also about the party and the new experiences where you can participate in tons of off-the-wall, fun activities and get to know new people from all different walks of life. It’s been said to host close to 90,000 people this year to participate in the latest edition of this memorable event.

The festival takes place every year in the Empire Polo Club in Indio, in the heart of the California deserts. The perfect opportunity for celebrities to show off their latest spring and summer looks. It’s also an ideal area for outdoor activities, where there are plenty of things to do to keep you entertained for the entire duration of the festival, three days straight and never a dull moment.

There’s something for everyone, from more off-the-wall, original contests to various sporting events, to dance competitions, games, personalized clothing stands where you can even have your own shirts printed on the spot, and a beauty bar where you can get your hair styled for free.

This year, the festival will take place on two separate dates. The first edition will be held on April 11th, 12th and 13th. But if you can’t make that date, you can always try for the second round on the 18th, 19th and 20th of April. This year’s line up is one of best yet with groups like Outkast, Lana del Rey, Muse, Fatboy Slim, Beck, Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Pharrell Williams, Foster the People, Kid Cudi and Calvin Harris, to name a few. The complete lineup with all the details on stage location, etc., can be found on the official festival website.

You’ll be able to enjoy and take part in all the festivities and concerts with a general admission for 375 dollars. Pricy, but well worth it.

On the festival premises, you’ll also find large areas of grass perfect for tents, with room for a car as well if necessary. There is also a designated area for RVs and campers if you prefer to make the journey more comfortably to the depths of the California deserts.

You’ll be able to find the best hotels, restaurants, and if you prefer to be closer to nature, there are also camping areas

Outside Coachella, there’s lots to discover as well. In order to take full advantage of your stay, you can catch a plane right to the Palm Springs airport. From the airport, it’s only about an hour drive to Coachella. There, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the most famous golf courses in the world. And you can do all kinds of sporting activities like tennis, horseback riding, swimming, hiking and cycling. For a place to stay, you’ll find some of the best hotels in the area like the Renaissance (by Marriott). Another option is La Quinta, also in a very nice area.

For places to eat, there are lots of good restaurants with an international cuisine. But if you want to try typical food from California, we suggest Le Vallauris, located in a great area; or if you like golf, you can’t pass up paying a visit to Arnold Palmer’s Restaurant.

If you prefer to spend your nights in the open air and close to nature, you can also find camping zones in the Coachella Valley. We highly recommend the Indian Wells Carefree RV Resort.

So how about it, are you ready to get to know sunny Southern California and live a one-of-a-kind experience at the Coachella festival?
