7 DAYS, 7 OUTFITS

MONDAY
PULL&BEAR jumper⎪H&M jeans beanie⎪BIRKENSTOCK slippers⎪MICHAEL KORS bag
Time for another 7 days, 7 outfits! Two weeks ago was a hella busy blog-related week, which was perfect to keep an outfit diary. Here we go. Easter Monday was a rather lazy day that consisted of cleaning the house (hence the Birkenstocks?) and studying for university. I usually prefer my pyjamas over actual clothes on days like these, but since I decided to capture my week in outfits and I was obliged to go out and buy food, I wore this super comfy look. These new boyfriend jeans are HEAVEN, for the material (and price!) is super soft and they're length 34. I've been looking for a long pair of slouchy jeans since forever but apparently most brands only make them in cropped versions. Bumping into this pair at H&M made me very happy! I do think it needs some more distressing, so if you've got some easy DIY's laying around: holla at me!

TUESDAY
MASSIMO DUTTI coat⎪VILA sweater⎪ZARA skirt⎪ NIKE sneakers⎪MULBERRY bag
Tuesday was actually quite similar to Monday, except for the fact that we were invited for drinks at friends in the evening. During the day I rocked my fave sweatpants for studying, and in the evening I tried my best to dress up a bit. I even wore a skirt and tights, for the first time in months! However, looking fancy is not one of my specialties so I Pielaunified the outfit by adding my favourite Nike sneakers. Worked out quite well, no? I'm particularly happy to have taken the Mulberry out again after some time spent in the closet. I believe the bag is perfect for autumn, but I take the challenge to pair it with whites and denim in summer. More to come!
WEDNESDAY
MONKI little black dress⎪H&M shirt⎪NIKE sneakers⎪MICHAEL KORS bag (similar)
On Wednesday I attended some press events, including Sofie Valkiers' Fashionata Ladies Night at Princess, Antwerp. Sofie just finished her brand new Little Black Book and celebrated the launch with a bunch of readers and other bloggers. With a 'little black dress' dresscode I jumped into my comfy Monki dress and decided to add a touch of prep with the collar and crossover bag. I was too lazy however to patter all the way over there in bare legs and high heels, so this outfit was again Pielaunified by my favourite sneakers! Don't mind the red face - the place was steaming due to enthusiast shoppers and too much gin tonic.
THURSDAY
AMERICAN VINTAGE sweater⎪VILA pleather pants⎪H&M bag⎪CONVERSE sneakers
Tuesday was… Very tiring. I attended class at 8.30, after which I did a press agency marathon until the afternoon, when I had to attend another class, after which I visited to another press agency and attended another event. Got home around 11 and fell asleep on my couch. For this long day I wore something comfy that was both eye-catching and rain-proof. My pleather sweatpants by VILA were the perfect solution! Together with this incredibly soft cashmere pullover they made the perfect casual-chic ensemble. And have you noticed my signature pose, by the way?

FRIDAY
GOOD GENES shirt ⎪ IKKS c/o belt ⎪ ZARA jeans & heels
MICHAEL KORS bag (similar) ⎪ CELINE sunglasses
After a full day of studying and class-attending I forced myself to dress up a bit. I attended the Sam Edelman Pop-up Store event at Monar Antwerp and since Mr. Edelman himself would be present to pick the best outfit, I decided to step up my game. However, I would be lying if I told you I spent hours contemplating my outfit - I just wore this to class and switched my trusty converses for heels. Yikes, heels. Didn't I just tell you I literally haven't worn heels in MONTHS? It was apparently really time to step up my game. So here you are, an outfit that I've showed you last week already! SATURDAY
H&M shirt ⎪ VERO MODA jeans ⎪ ADIDAS sneakers via OMODA
Saturday was closet sale day! Besides dragging boxes, mirrors and plates full of iced vanilla soy lattes I also had to welcome visitors and small-talk with blog readers, so a decent outfit was kind of required. Unfortunately, after a week of trying to look interesting I had no inspiration left and went for a simple pair of jeans and my dear Adidas sneakers. Who wants to fuss around with accessories and layering when working anyway? The easy outfit definitely did me good, and I heard no complains of you guys! Picture by Emma Gelaude.
SUNDAY
H&M sweater & sweatpants ⎪ JOLLY SOCKS socks
Are you surprised by the amount of times I wear sweatpants in one week? Now, this genius combination sprouted from my unique talent to mix and match all kinds of colours and prints. Or did I just grab the nearest pieces of clothing in the morning? Of course I did, since Sunday = study day! Prepare yourself for more of that nonsense talking in the next few weeks, since exams are coming closer. Have a happy Monday!
