This title is actually VERY applicable on today: I'm wearing the exact same fluffy jumper while hanging around in pretty frosty temperatures. Yep, my Club Med snow trip to Val Thorence has started! Whenever I'm at my parents it's quite challenging to find a modern/cool/interesting location; they live on the countryside as you can see in some pretty old outfitposts here and here. My brother and I usually explore the somewhat industrial area when scouting for nice environments, and last time we ended up shooting in front of this ahmazing wall. The magical cool winter light perfectly matched the location and the outfit, don't you think?
And what about the outfit itself? When browsing my local H&M store I was immediately drawn to this pastel blue fluff ball, but hesitated when I saw the 100% acrylic tag. Nobody really wants itchy materials or electric vibes in their morning coupe (I'm talking hair, not champagne). So although I'm trying more and more to focus on decent and more sustainable materials (think wool, cotton, mohair, cashmere etc) I had quite a hard time not quickly running to the cashier while waving my cash around. Even after some contemplating and reasoning with an acrylic-hating friend, I did allow myself this one little crazy purchase since it was a case of love at first sight, it's damn fluffy and it absolutely wouldn't hurt my wallet. Now I need to get my focus back on the stuff that will last me for years to come!
