São Paulo based producer and DJ Pedrowl - aka Pedro Lima - releases first track as part of his new project inspired by the future bass-driven sound in the likes of producers Cashmere Cat, Flume and Lido, with a fresh Brazilian twist on it.
The 21-year-old has been a DJ for 5 years, playing in clubs even before he was legally allowed to, due to his unique and ahead-of-the-trend sets. As he gathered influence and experience throughout the years, he started leaning towards production, which was a natural step further in his career.
His debut, “You Like It”, is a psychodelical chilling-with-friends take on R&B singer Omarion, loaded with strategically placed bubbly samples and a catchy melody flipped into a hednodic beat with a sparkly explosive drop, turning the original mid-tempo R&B song into a future pop track.
