Whimsical Girls First Birthday Party (Pretty My Party)

What could be sweeter than gathering your family and friends to shower love and attention on your baby girl for her first birthday? Definitely not much, and it was apparent in this wonderful Whimsical Girls First Birthday Party that was planned!

First time mom and event designer and coordinator, Brittany Hitch, decided to celebrate 1 year in style by turning her suburban bungalow back yard into a sweet dream for this well-loved child. With help from her Alluring Events and Design team, they began to brainstorm via Pinterest for idea’s for this one-of-a-kind 1st birthday party.

Even dad got in on the action by sewing and assembling Emme’s first Teepee to play in for the day. How awesome is this?!?!

The décor for the event was rustic, yet elegant. The tables were set up beautifully with gorgeous flowers and pictures surrounding the awesome antler centerpieces.

Awesome items like pictures made into garland that adorned the fence, as well as sweet little girl’s dresses, added the cute first birthday party touch to the celebration! As guests showed up, they were greeted with none other than pink champagne for the adults and sippy-cups for the toddlers with favorite juices.

Lots of sweets were on hand to celebrate and everyone relaxed and enjoyed watching their favorite 1-year-old experience her very first party.

The awesome chalkboard backdrop is such a popular trend right now and it was a great addition to the dessert table! It provided a wonderful eye-catching piece for the guests to read while stocking up on the goodies at the birthday celebration!

And those mini-cupcakes?!?! Ahhhhmazing!

This little birthday beauty had quite the throne for her birthday cake surprise! How sweet! Everything was very whimsical and the simple and elegant white backdrop provided the elegance needed for a little princess!

When it came time for Emme to taste her first cake, mom and dad joined in showing this sweet girl how it’s done. Nugget Bakery did a phenomenal job providing a cake that was simple, yet beautiful for this sweetie’s first birthday! Alexis Mattox Designs also provided a beautiful cake topper!

With everyone gathered around to wish her well and give her love, I’d say this 1-year-old is quite blessed! What a great party!
