Bubbles: Fourth of July Cocktails
Happy July! It’s been a little quiet here on my blog, and probably will be the next few days since I’m out of town. I feel like once vacation is over, the summer starts winding down quickly. I know that sounds very Debbie Downer of me, but when you love a season so much, it feels like it flies way too fast!
I think we can all agree that the Fourth of July is all around awesome. You get to show off your patriotism, put on your most festive red, white and blue outfit and imbibe for the day. Oh, and the food and fireworks obviously get some brownie points, too. Overall, it’s just a great day for celebrating the U-S-of-A and enjoying summer (aka the best time of year).
I’ll be traveling back to Cincinnati on Saturday, but I’m hoping to be back in time to catch a few fireworks at night. Since I’m on vacation, it already kind of feels like the Fourth, since everyone here is having a good time and enjoying the weather. I even painted my 3-year-old cousin’s nails white and red yesterday to get in the spirit. Below are a few drinks
