BEST PACES TO EAT IN NYC

THE MANHATTAN EDITION

The New York food scene has something for everyone. Personally I am fond of restaurants that have relaxed atmospheres and cool (instagramable) decor. Bonus points for big windows, alot of natural light and a pretty color scheme. Oh yeah, and awesome food at prices that wont break the bank. Luckily, New York has plenty of amazing places that fit the description. You could try a new restaurant everyday and probably never run out of different places to go, but these spots have stuck out to me and I keep going back.

I thought it was a good time to do a little round up since its almost New York Fashion Week and people travel from all over to visit the city. I will post my favorite places to get a nice dinner and favorite places to drink and dance soon! I hope this round up is helpful, let me know if you visit any. Also tell me your favorite places to eat!

THE BUTCHERS DAUGHTER (NOLITA)
The ironically named cafe has wonderful vegetarian and vegan menu that even meat eaters will love. The dinner is tasty but my favorites are the wholesome brunch dishes. The Butchers Daughter attracts a well dressed crowd and the people watching from the window seats is endlessly entertaining. Service is very friendly (borderline flirty) and they have a cute mini market next door you should visit too for fresh juices and produce.

ESPERANTO (EAST VILLAGE)
I first spotted Esperanto because of its adorable floral table cloths. But keep coming back for the Brazilian and Latin American food. And their brunch special. Plus they have a bomb Acai bowl which you have to try, if you love them as much as I do.

THE COFFEE SHOP (UNION STATION)
Googling “Coffee Shop NYC” gets your about a million results. THIS ONE in particular is actually named “The Coffee Shop” and is located right next to Union Square. I always get the same thing here, falafel greek salad, calamari and sweet potato fries. It always hits the spot.

MUD SPOT (LES)
Hands down my favorite spot for coffee in Manhattan. Cool and cosy interior, great coffee, tea and food selection.
(Tip: Get a table aaaaaaallll the way in the back and order the LOVE salad)

REMEDY DINER (LES)
When a friend of mine told him to meet me at Remedy Diner early last year, I didn’t know all of my diner dreams were going to come true. (I am obsessed with American Diners)Since then I have been back to Remedy countless times and every time I order something different to the extremely vast classic diner menu. Great prices & bottomless coffee, what more could you want for breakfast or lunch.

PS. Its open 24 hours- hello 3am pancakes!
