Progress Report

Are you joining in the #Biblein90Summer journey I started this month? How is it going for you?

Stephanie made a great point today that I’ve told myself, but I don’t think I’ve shared there. This is not legalistic.

Let me say it again.

It is not legalistic.

The point of this journey is not to cross dates off and get discouraged when you don’t meet your goal for the day. The point is to be in the word of God and read his story in a way that will allow us to see the forest, not just the trees.

Personally, I’m behind. But I’m hoping to rally forth, reclaim some lost ground, and stay positive. You can do it! Don’t listen to the lie that if you’re behind, you will never catch up. You can! And if it takes 91 days, or 95 days, or 100 days… so what? God meets us right where we are and he loves us just the same.
