It’s been chilly, but a lot of fun. Husband has been on school holidays, and there have been plenty of people in PJs until well into the afternoon.
Especially when someone wants yogurt at 4.19am. Ack.
The light is incredible. It’s so funny that this is so much earlier than I’m used to. But pretty all the same.
My supermarket sells terrariums! I nearly left without one. But seriously, it was $25. I would have hated myself forever if I didn’t buy one at such a bargain rate.
A visit to Ikea has meant new organisation for arts crafts. It has made the world of difference as opposed to open shelving. They don’t tip EVERY SINGLE GODDAMN THING OUT ALL OVER THE FLOOR anymore. I’d have paid double for this thingamagig.
This one is as cheeky as they come and I spend three-quarters of my day guffawing at her antics. Or making her repeat words because they’re so funny.
The flower surprise. Stuff I didn’t know bloomed in the depths of the Antartcic breeze.
I quite like the winter light. And a sunny day with no breeze is pretty much heaven. I even hung washing out yesterday, and as my breath froze into little puffs of steam, I was thinking how very lovely it was. Usually I get blown over as my house is on a hill and bears the full front of the windy city. Surely the novelty will wear off soon…
