From Golden Globes to High Street

The Golden Globes was full of some gorgeous numbers so I have decided to put together my High Street (affordable) versions of some of my favourite looks. First up is Emma Watson's groundbreaking red carper Dior number a dress and trouser in one. She looked absolutely stunning but it's nothing that us normal peps could get away with so I have made the outfit a little more fitting for a Saturday night. It includes some fitted straight leg trousers, an open back red peplum top and some navy blue pointed heels to fit the basics of Emma's look. I am also now a converted blue shoe lover, need a pair in my wardrobe and these ones are a bargain at £31:50.

Next up was my favourite outfit from the red carpet from the lovely Zooey Deschanel in Oscar De La Renta. It's just a beautiful look with a vintage touch that I love. I've pretty much duplicated this look as best as I could because it is a perfect S/S outfit for a wedding or posh evening meal. You could even dress it down a bit with some flats, frilly socks and a over shoulder bag.

Lace Skirt- £18 ASOS (sale) Crochet Crop Top- £17:99 New Look Gold Clutch- £30 River Island Pointed Heels- £15 ASOS (sale) Total: £80:99
My final favourite dress from the Golden Globes was an Emilia Wickstead number worn by Caitlin Fitzgerald. This one has a great classic, glam 50s feel to it that just oozes sophistication. It also makes me think of Mad Men and I would love to jump and roll around in Mad Men's costume room so my eyes grew green with envy when I saw this number. It was the most difficult to find something on the high street for. You could go for a knee length swing style dress but I found it difficult to find one with a high neck, sleeves and in a pale blue. Instead I went for a fitted number that had a similar texture to it's material and cute little sleeves. This would be a perfect summer wedding outfit.
