Annie For Target Collection Preview!

Is anybody else as excited as I am that Annie is being remade into a movie for the holiday season? The movie stars Jamie Foxx & Quvenzhané Wallis in the remake from the 1982 classic.

Target is releasing a brand new fashion line for little girls that is inspired from the movie. So many of the pieces are so cute I totally wish they made them in my size! A group of mommy fashion bloggers met at Target Studios for a preview of the line and to chat with the line designer Renee Erlich Kalfus.

She was able to talk to us about her motivation for creating the line. She wanted to include a lot of mix and match pieces to give the girls opportunity to show their own personalities. She really didn’t want a matchy matchy sort of look but really a line that can be interchangeable and cute all at the same time. Renee believe that the ability to pick and choose is empowering!

The line featured pieces that had beautiful jeweled accents like the Jeans jacket:

There were so many more pieces in the line that were so gorgeous and even more affordable.

After we previewed the line, the kids got a chance to take a dance class with the actual choreography from the movie Annie. The kids were super adorable and we also got to hear from the new soundtrack (which sounds so good!).

The Annie for Target collection releases on November 17 in Target stores everywhere. I know for a fact that I will be picking up some pieces (as Christmas gifts!) for the special little girls in my life…and I have a lot of them!
