playing tourist in my own city

Vacation mode hasn't quite ceased yet if a friend you stayed with overseas comes to stay with you immediately after your trip. No complaints there.

As I am sure you are aware by now, the memories I made in Hong Kong a month ago are some of the best ones of my life. Imagine my enthrallment when I discovered that one of my HK friends Bryant was going to be in LA for a couple days when Natalie and I got back home from Thailand! Due to everyone's busy schedules, we were only able to coordinate a single day to spend some QT together, but we QT'd the heck out of that day. We shopped, went to a showroom, ate many times over, and went to LACMA. I don't think I've ever posted a photo at the monumental lamps but I guess I'm a real LA gal now. Parting (again) was such sweet sorrow, but seeing him only whet my appetite for my next Asia adventure. December will come sooner than we think!
