This month, I may or may not have indulged in a bit too much retail therapy for my own good. Based on all the haul videos posted on Youtube nowadays, all of my acquisitions may seem like nothing, but my wallet is definitely feeling the pain as December comes to an end. The good news is that I don't regret any of my purchases. This month, I've been focusing on stocking up on basics, which I lack. The only non basic-looking monochromatic item that I've purchased this month is a dress from Ross that makes me feel like an absolute princess. I regret nothing.
Beyond clothing, I've just been trying to be kind to my body. It's been a hard semester, and part of the reason I've been practicing so much retail therapy was that I thought I had failed all of my exams. Near the end, school got so overwhelming, that after each major project or exam, I would go out and buy something just because I felt like such a failure. It actually turns out I ended the semester pretty well off.
Now, I'm just trying super hard to be kind to my face, my body, my senses. I light up my candles and put on my body lotion and face cream and all is good in the world.

As the new year approaches, just take a deep breath, relax, and think the happiest of thoughts.

I've found that whatever state of mind you're in at the beginning of the New Year is the mindset you'll be rocking all year long.

Happy holidays, and thank you for stopping by!
