Balenciwannabe

I’ve expressed my burning desire for a Balenciaga galaxy sweater via Instagram (biancavenerayan) in the past. I just love how the stiff neoprene or leather gives structure to the oversized fit. But alas, like any other starving student I wasn’t ready to drop $5000 on it, not that I have $5000 to begin with. I settled for a Topshop for Opening Ceremony neoprene sweater in a size way too big for me just to fill that gaping hole in my heart. I also sought help from the style gods to have one magically appear in my arms.

Luckily, a very small part of me is Chinese, and it seems as though that very small part of me responded to my Balenciaga-plagued prayers because Chicnova de la Hong Kong sent me this glorious rip-off that I thoroughly enjoy touching. With my skin. On my bodice.

Anyway, it’s sold out now which is quite sad considering the fact that I’ve just come up with the idea of persuading all my friends to buy one so that we can be a pseudo-Balenciaga-sweater mob. Maybe I’ll have to direct my religious pleas to this new goal…. Yes… That’s what I’ll do. Goodbye.
