It was many and many a year ago,In a kingdom by the sea...
Annaleigh Wells and William Calloway had a love even the angels envied. It was as if the universe spun them toward one another, like the stars crafted their souls to fit perfectly together.
With a wedding on the horizon, fate had a change of heart. Whispered warnings from phantoms and morbid nightmares darkened every night—but even visions of the future couldn’t save Annaleigh.
Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s poem Annabel Lee, Crouch’s period romance Madly, Deeply tells the tale of love so great, it cannot be contained in just one life.

This book is pretty short I think it was around 182 pages so I'm not going to get to in depth or be spoilery with my review, because honestly if I spoiled anything for you then this book wouldn't be worth reading and it's just too beautiful not to read!
Madly, deeply is a sort of retelling with its own twists of Edgar Allen Poe's Annabel Lee. This particular poem is very special to me because the night I met my husband, I accused him of being simple and ignorant and for some reason, I have no idea why, he word for word recited Annabel Lee and had my heart from there. Weird story I know.
Madly, deeply is about a young girl named Annaleigh who is head over heels in love with William Calloway (who has just proposed to her) and he is also her childhood sweetheart (So cute). The love these two people have for each other is passionate and you as the reader will feel it as well. Such a beautiful and strong romance without your typical HEA and I like that Crouch did that to us! Not enough authors these days will do what she did.
I know I didn't give too much information on this book, I can try to convince you about how beautifully written it is, but honestly you will have to check Madly, Deeply out yourself to really get the full effect of this book.
