I'm really pleased to see the come-back of over-the-knee boots since I really love the look with practically everything. And my legs are quite short so super thigh high boots really create an elongating effect that I can't quite achieve on the regular. The issue is, the higher the boot, the harder it is to find one with paramount quality at a reasonable price point that suits your body. Little booties are that much easier, which is typically what's on my radar. Luckily, I bought these boots from Guess just a little over three years ago and can finally put them to use again, paired with leather leggings and an oversized sweater - an outfit that's always a good idea around this time of the year. The simplicity and streamlined look becomes even more polished with a wide-brim fedora (might as well add some sort of cap to every outfit at this point). So anyway, if you only buy two boots this season, make it a good over-the-knee boot or chelsea (quite oxymorons in the world of hooves, but so necessary).
