UncommonGoods: Pearls of Wisdom #ad

Uncommon Goods compensated me with this product. This review is my honest opinion.

I would have to say that one of my favorite parts of blogging is learning about all the unique, creative, and just plain awesome shops out there that I otherwise would never have known about. Some of your product reviews have spurred me onto some great products for myself and those around me.
Today, I get to share a new shop with you! I hadn't heard of Uncommon Goods before they contacted me but after a few looks around their site and reading their about statement I was sold.
"Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, UncommonGoods is a privately-owned retailer that endeavors to feature unique designs and hand crafted gifts created in harmony with the environment and without harm to animals or people."

It seems like more and more consumers are looking to where the products they purchase come from, how they're made, and who is benefited from their purchase. Isn't it great to know that not only do these products from an American company but also with concern for the environment?! They also support a number of non profits like RAINN and Women for Women. I also love how one-on-one they are with their customers, offering things like a studio tour, click here, and always looking for other artistic individuals out there through design challenges, see here.
So clearly a great company. But do they have?! Besides all kinds of awesome artwork, home goods, and gifts for men, women and children, they have some really beautiful jewelry. From bracelets, see here, to necklaces, see here, and even some really cool earrings, see here.
I received this necklace, the "Pearls" of Wisdom, Love and Strength necklace in the garnet color. I mean come on, how perfectly does that fit me and this little blog? When you receive the package you'll be greeted by the most fun packaging ever! I mean seriously, the jewelry box was wrapped in a recycled t-shirt sleeve, remember this tweet/ instagram?
I love how sweet and precious this necklace is. It's delicate and just the right tough of special to any outfit. The quality is impeccable and I found the clasp to be unique even, loved it!
If there's anything I have to say against the products is the price. Since they're created by truly talented artists, they're on the pricier end. I wish my budget allowed me to buy real quality items like this all the time but I'm afraid UncommonGoods jewelry would be a special occasions purchase for me, or a gift for someone else.

I've got my eye on this this too...what do you see that you like?
