Budget Beauty Loving.

I seem to be on a drugstore roll right now, with some of my favourite products of the moment boasting very reasonable price tags. I’ve rounded up the must haves for you here – all of which are perfect for the summery weather we’ve been seeing…

It’s true to say that I’m obsessed with The Body Shop right now – I feel like I’ve fallen in love with the brand years after everyone else but I’m yet to try something I haven’t wanted to immediately blog about! Right now it’s this Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist (£8), a hydrating skin pick-me-up that feels way more nourishing than your average facial spritz. This almost feels creamy, so when you apply it to the skin it actually hydrates the complexion, and there’s no tight feeling as soon as it dries. It leaves skin looking revived and dewy – I use it if my makeup isn’t looking so fresh or my skin is in need of some hydration during the day. It’s also a winner if you apply too much powder, it kind of resurrects your makeup. Highly recommend!

Another TBS offering I wanted to share with you is the Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil (£16), which I guess is a little more pricey than your average budget buy but I can’t find anything in this category that would compare! I’ve actually always been a little wary of these dry bronzing oils – surely something is going to go wrong? I can confirm that the colour is very, very subtle – barely there in fact. It’s more about perking up skin and ensuring it looks healthy and glowing rather than adding colour. It’s easy to apply, impossible to go wrong with and it feels and looks beautiful on the skin.

Dewy skin is something I can’t pass up on during the summer months, it always looks so effortless – my staple for glowing skin is the Soap & Glory Bright Here Bright Now Instant Radiance Energy Boosting Balm (£12), which is kind of like a moisturiser and complexion-enhancing primer in one. I apply it in the morning to smooth over skin, minimise imperfections and leave the complexion looking bright and clear. It works wonders on uneven tone and completely transforms a tired complexion! Love.

Finally, the Rimmel x Kate Moss ScandalEyes Shadow Stick (£4.49); I’ve suddenly developed a love for creamy shadow sticks and bronze eyes, so this is a great little find. Seen here is the shade ‘Rose Gold’ which is a flattering bronze/coppery hue that brightens and defines the eyes all in one. It’s super easy to smudge it in to lashes or take it over the lid for some effortless colour and it lasts pretty well too. I’m going to pretend the packaging is personalised…

Have you tried any of these?
