Makeup Medley #11.

My monthly makeup medley has rolled around again, where I give you the chance to have a little rummage through the contents of my daily makeup bag. This month’s picks are mainly made up on old favourites, as I’ve found all my staples now I’ve unpacked my makeup!

First up, I will give yet another mention to the Erborian CC Creme HD (£36) which is possibly one of my favourite products ever – it’s a little like the Origins VitaZing Moisturiser, it’s very sheerly tinted so you get the most amazing perfected skintone, but without a heap of coverage. I apply it more like a primer than anything else, it applies so well and really evens out the complexion, giving skin this brilliant dewy finish. I then follow up with concealer and powder or a light base and I’m set. I will never be without this stuff!

As for cheeks, I’ve been all over the Revlon Haute Pink Powder Blush (£7.99), this is another regularly recommended staple of mine. The colour is so me, it’s a bright almost-magenta, it’s got a cool tone to it which I think flatters my skin but it’s also very warming on the skin. They’ve actually brought out another lovely shade in this range (remember I was complaining because I didn’t like any of the other shades?) so I’ll post about that in due course.

Also here is the Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder (£13) which I seem to be using daily at the moment. A lot of the bases I seem to want to wear are all a bit off-colour, either too light or too sallow, so I’ve been dusting this very lightly all over in order to achieve a bit of colour. I like this as it’s super light so perfect for fair-skinned girls, and it blends seamlessly so it’s impossible to mess up. Perfect.

Finally, the Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer (£17), this is actually launched next month alongside their Perversion mascara. I have Perversion in my stash too, but I have to finish up a couple of opened mascaras first or they’ll go to waste. Subversion is a white lash primer, you slick it on first in order to build and plump the lashes. I’ve tried these white mascaras in the past and I’ve never been impressed but this stuff is pretty amazing – no white shows through and the lashes are always so full and long after application. More on this to come!

Have you tried any of these?
