Four To Try.

Choosing my four picks this week was almost too easy; it seems I’ve been a whole lot more experimental recently – probably something to do with autumn being an acceptable season to wear more makeup – and so we almost ended up with a Four 2 to Try…

First up, I want to share my love for the Illamasqua Metallix Cream Shadow in Courtier (£16.50), I adore a warm nude/pink all over my lids, no matter what the season. This sexy number is infused with a slight gold glitter, meaning it’s super flatting and really opens the eyes. I just love the formula, unlike SO many cream shadows I’ve tried this doesn’t feel sticky once applied, nor does it crease or disappear throughout the day. A staple, for sure.

I also have to give a mention to the Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tan (£16.70), an absolute saviour for me all year round. This stuff is just dreamy, it has all the smoothing, perfecting powers of the original primer but with an added instant caramel hue than translates as a really beautiful glow within a couple of hours. The tan is very subtle, enough to give a post-holiday tint, but without making you look instantly orange. I apply it a few times per week to give myself a glow, it’s just divine!

You’re probably all very familiar with my hand cream obsession, and I’ve recently added a new tube to my stash; the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment (£26) – this is just delicious. I’ve been slathering it on in recent weeks and it’s quickly become a favourite! It’s just as nourishing as the original formula but in a cream formula that sinks in quickly and feels beautiful.

Finally, Sachajuan Leave In Conditioner (£22), another everyday staple for me! I just adore this as it completely tames my unruly hair, making it more manageable, easy to detangle and oh so glossy. It’s a little pricey for what it is, but it works wonders on my hair so I’m finding it hard to part from it!
